That’s why we’re proud to share that ODL has achieved accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for our in-house products testing laboratory, a milestone that reflects years of focused, cross-functional effort.
ODL’s laboratory in Zeeland, Michigan, is accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the international standard that defines the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. This accreditation confirms both technical competence and the operation of a robust laboratory quality management system, supporting testing that is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
“From the beginning, this effort was about more than achieving certification,” said Evan Baxter, Manager of Test & Validation. “It was about building a stronger foundation for how we test—driving consistency, advancing continuous improvement, and aligning with the standards that define our industry.”
This achievement further differentiates ODL as a leader in product reliability within the building products industry. By validating internal testing processes against globally recognized benchmarks, ODL strengthens confidence among customers, partners, and stakeholders so products meet the highest standards before they reach the market.
